Whistleblowing

Whistleblowing shouldn’t be considered as snitching or some form of betrayal. It’s in a company’s best interest to have a whistleblowing policy.

Not only will this policy help staff members to understand the boundaries of unacceptable conduct, but it makes it more likely that they will make disclosures within the company. This means that the company can identify and correct problems without the need for damaging revelations being made to the media or other outside bodies.
