Telephone etiquette

Speaking to colleagues, suppliers and clients over the telephone is one of the most effective ways of communicating in a professional environment.

It can, however, also be one of the most challenging methods of communication as, unlike many other forms of correspondence, you have to be able to think on your feet and remember to adhere to the many rules of telephone etiquette to ensure that you’re being professional and effective.
