Introduction to sales

Sales is central to the success of every business, as the ability to sell the product or service that they provide ultimately decides whether they stay in business or not. It’s therefore not surprising that companies need salespeople who can effectively engage and connect with their existing or potential customers, to ensure that they are doing all they can, to promote and sell their product. However, good selling comes from listening to and meeting the needs of your client base, and less so from persuading someone to purchase what you are selling.

This module will introduce you to some basic sales techniques, as well as looking at the characteristics of a good salesperson and how you can create or improve your existing sales process.
