Multimedia should be used when it’s appropriate and its inclusion must always be because it is enhancing the learning taking place. But when it’s included in the right way, it really can take your e-learning to a new level. We can provide the following:

We have developed a successful balance of instructional design and user experience to develop e-learning that is simple, intuitive and engaging to use. Navigation is our way of giving your learners the opportunity to take control of their learning and move through the course at their own pace. Our navigation is clearly labelled, with additional options of pop-up menus, audio volume controls, performance indicators and subtitles.

Your e-learning package will be tailor-made for you and designed to comply with your branding and accessibility guidelines. The content will be scripted and divided into comprehensible sections, broken up by thought provoking scenarios, interactions, quizzes, diagrams and videos.

Using sophisticated 3D software that simulates photorealistic objects, lighting, materials and colour, Dynamic can now create your own virtual world that utilises a real-world approach to learning.

The detailed 3D environments can be used with green screening as a backdrop for interviews, demonstrations, interactions and many more. Previous 3D work includes health and safety awareness interactions for many NHS Trusts, artist impressions of future building developments for Leeds Rugby and fully interactive 3D environments for Midcounties Co-operative, Waitrose and Lookers. Go to the Case Studies section for more examples.

Sometimes our projects require a Learning Management System or a bespoke website to support learning materials. Our website designers are both skilled and experienced at using the latest web technologies to create sophisticated, well crafted websites. We have integrated the latest JavaScript technologies, Content Management Systems and e-commerce capabilities into our website developments.

Recent examples of this aspect of our work are a management development portal for a global engineering company and a medical education website supporting doctors training at a large teaching hospital.

There’s a saying that you need the right tool for the right job, and that very much applies to e-learning. Our preferred authoring tool is Adobe Flash™, this powerful software provides us with huge flexibility, allowing our creative ideas to really come to life with high quality interactions and slick animations. As Flash™ uses vector graphics, file sizes are kept low, allowing even low bandwidth users the same engaging experience.

At Dynamic we also respond to client demand, so if your preferred in-house authoring tool is Lectora™, Captivate™, Articulate™, or indeed something else, we will develop content in the tool of your choice and supply the source files for you to maintain the content yourself.

Whatever your training requirements we have a video production solution for you. All of our video services are based in-house where we can handle all or part of the process for you, from storyboards and scriptwriting through to the voice over, shooting, editing and distribution.

We can produce video for any purpose, and will combine it with text, graphics, voiceovers, subtitles and animation to create a content rich e-learning, marketing or advertising solution.

Photography is one of the most powerful visual tools available to us, and it can be effective on many levels, from emotional to instructional. With professional photographers and high end equipment in house at Dynamic, we can work with you to create the images that will suit both your branding and learning needs.

Our image manipulation services include :

  • 360 Panoramas
  • Background replacement
  • Restoration and retouching on old or new images
  • Image manipulation (adding or removing objects)
  • Colour and light corrections

3D animation is used in our e-learning to engage the learner and simplify their learning on subjects that are difficult to represent through a still photograph or diagram. We can create high quality 3D animated video simulations on a variety of subjects from how the body works, to manufacturing processes. We can also help you design and create your own customised character, logo or mascot and bring them to life.

Cinematography has the power to invoke real emotions in the viewer. Similarly within e-learning, when you have a story or a message to get across, motion graphics is a powerful technique to employ. We can create stunning motion graphics videos that can be used to portray a company’s history, a personal story, statistical information, or indeed anything which you wish to bring alive and have impact.

When it comes to post production, our editors are qualified professionals who know just what it takes to get the best out of your production.

Chroma key compositing (or green screening) is a technique used to composite two images or videos together. A color from one image is made transparent, revealing another image behind it. It is commonly used for television weather forecasts, wherein the presenter appears to be standing in front of a large map, but in the studio it is actually a large blue or green background.

We regularly use this specialised technique to include a real life presenter into our e-learning packages. These onscreen instructors or buddies will guide, advise and support the learner throughout the learning process, giving us the opportunity to include real life scenarios and replicate the face-to-face nature of classroom training.
