Dynamic completes Yorkshire & Humberside Strategic Health Authority Project

Dynamic have recently completed an online training program on the 18 Week Patient Pathway for Yorkshire & Humberside Strategic Health Authority.

The 2004 NHS Improvement Plan set out the idea for reform: “By 2008, no one will have to wait longer than 18 weeks from GP referral to hospital treatment.” Since then, the Department’s 18 weeks team has been hard at work helping the NHS turn this goal into a reality, identifying how to support the NHS to deliver elective pathways with no delays, devising rules and guidance to help delivery, and supporting the roll-out of large scale changes across the service

The 18 week referral to treatment pathway is about improving patients’ experience of the NHS - ensuring all patients receive high quality elective care without any unnecessary delay. 18 weeks applies to pathways that do or might involve consultant-led care, setting a maximum time of 18 weeks from the point of initial referral up to the start of any treatment necessary for all patients where it is clinically appropriate and where patients want it.

Dynamic have designed a Flash SCORM enabled interactive online training program to train health professionals in this new initative. The training is available to all Trusts in the Yorkshire & Humberside region.
