Sulzer are a global engineering company active in over 160 locations worldwide. Specialising in the manufacturing of industrial machinery and equipment, surfacing technology, and rotating equipment maintenance, the four divisions of Sulzer are global leaders in their respective markets.
Sulzer are a long standing client of Dynamic, so when their Pumps Division needed help to increase the understanding and take up of LEAN, they approached us. Sulzer already used LEAN manufacturing techniques in various parts of the business, but wanted all senior and middle managers across the company to fully understand how LEAN had to be managed and integrated for the business to fully benefit, but without the need for costly travel to attend classroom workshops in various countries.
We took Sulzer’s LEAN management tool book and other resources and created an interactive resource covering the theory, practical application and tips and techniques for managers. Find Out More sections, Test Me sections as well as videos from the shop floor all help make this a resource that all managers, regardless of their learning style, could relate to and make use of.
Following the success of the deployment within the Pumps Division, the materials were then deployed across all four divisions of the business.
