Heinz – Expenses Management System

Heinz need no introduction – everyone has heard of them and all of us have probably consumed their products. Heinz implemented a new global expense system, known as Global Expense Report Solutions (GERS), which provided new procedures for claiming and authorising expenses across the business. The GERS system would provide a detailed analysis of expense claims breaking each element down as required into further sub expense categories.
This system was to be used by a vast number of users across the UK business, therefore, to provide classroom based training was deemed totally unfeasible, therefore, Dynamic was commissioned to develop and on-line e-learning solution.
The training needed to address key aspects of correct system use, therefore, a simulation approach was developed to address the key topics:
- Logging into to the system and general navigation
- Checking profile information and changing preferences
- Checking AMEX card statements and providing the required level of detail
The programme was developed using Adobe Flash and a bespoke interface and menu system developed to facilitate clear navigation for new and returning users.
