ASDA – Retail Link

Retail Link is a system that is used internally by ASDA colleagues and externally by product suppliers. The system's purpose is to provide a direct link and communication channel between ASDA and its suppliers, enabling real-time views of stock levels and reports.
Training for Retail Link had traditionally been delivered in a classroom setting. The application is comprehensive and for an individual to be fully conversant with the application, three training sessions may be required.
Staff turnover within existing suppliers and the extension of Retail Link to new suppliers, means that the demand for training is continuous. Often, the classroom based courses were fully booked in advance which meant that staff and suppliers had to wait for a place on a course.
